Worn or fatigued engine and transmission mounts can create CV axle binding and vibration issues in certain Subaru applications. As the transmission shifts away from its intended position, conventional CV axle designs may struggle to accommodate the resulting changes in operating angles and movement.
TrakMotive Subaru HD CV Axles are engineered to address these challenges with a sliding center shaft design and 6-ball CV joints. This configuration provides up to 45° of articulation and 50% more linear travel than conventional CV axle designs, helping reduce binding associated with excessive transmission movement.
